We are seeking a full-time, passionate and dedicated Gymnastics Coach to join our team. The ideal candidate will hold a L1/L2 WAG qualification.
This role involves working closely with working closely with athletes of all levels, from beginners to advanced, and contributing to the overall success and positive atmosphere of our club.

Duties
Deliver gymnastics classes at the club, ensuring safety standards are met at all times
- Foster a positive team environment that encourages teamwork, discipline, and respect.
- Maintain a safe training environment by ensuring all equipment is in good condition and adhering to safety protocols.
- Plan and implement staff rotas
Complete administration duties of enrolling gymnasts, answering e-mails and updating our customer portal.
Qualifications
Proven experience in gymnastics coaching. You will hold a L1 or L2 WAG qualification
- Strong understanding of gymnastics techniques, rules, and safety standards.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to educate and motivate young athletes.
- Ability to work well as part of a team while also being self-motivated.
- A genuine passion for sports coaching and developing young talent.

Carterton Gymnastic Club CIC is proud to be the recipient of the British Gymnastics Club of the Year award in 2023 for 250+ members. Our club boasts a purpose-built facility, reflecting our commitment to providing the best possible training environment for our members. We take pride in our family-feel ethos and welcome individuals from all backgrounds and diversities within the sport. We offer recreational and competitive gymnastics, cheerleading, dance and adult exercise classes within The Vault. We opened the facility in April 2021 and are looking to develop the club and wider facility in the coming years. It is a great time to join us and be involved as we grow.
Position Overview:
As a gymnastics coach at Carterton Gymnastic Club CIC, you will be responsible for coaching recreational and squad classes, helping our members develop their skills and passion for gymnastics. The role involves working closely with athletes of all levels, from beginners to advanced, and contributing to the overall success and positive atmosphere of our club. Additionally, the successful candidate will support the administration and development of the club within the community.
Key Responsibilities:
• Plan and deliver high-quality gymnastics coaching sessions for various age groups and skill levels.
• Provide constructive feedback and support to athletes, fostering their development and progression.
• Collaborate with other coaches and staff to ensure a cohesive and positive training environment.
• Support the development of coaches.
• Actively contribute to the planning and execution of club events, competitions, and festivals.
• Uphold the club's commitment to inclusivity and diversity within the sport.
• Support the administration of the club.
• Set up and monitor the maintenance of equipment.
Qualifications and Requirements:
• Minimum Level 1 British Gymnastics coaching qualification.
• Previous coaching experience, particularly with a variety of age groups and skill levels.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• A passion for promoting a positive and inclusive atmosphere within the gymnastics community.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as required.
• Be punctual and reliable.
• Represent and display the core values of the club.

Special Needs Gymnastics Coach
We are seeking a Special Needs Gymnastics Coach to lead our Comets Classes, which cater to up to six children with special needs.
Currently, we offer one Comets Class per week, with plans to add a second session very soon. The role therefore involves 1-2 hours per week.
This class is specifically designed for disabled participants and require the presence of a carer or supporter.
Dance & Coreography Teachers
We are seeking to fill multiple positions for our expanding Attitude Dance Academy. Hours are flexible, and we can create personalised timetables based on your availability.
Our classes cater to both adults and children and include the following styles: Hip Hop & Street Dance, Ballet, Contemporary Jazz, Adult Dance Fitness, and Choreography for Gymnastic Floor Routines.
As our Dance School gains popularity, we plan to introduce more styles!
Gymnastics Coach Assistants (Volunteer)
